Project Portfolio Digital Archeology & Modern Games
A career built on community, platform architecture, and technical media.
This portfolio showcases key projects and platforms I've designed, built, and led. From deterministic card combat to historical community archives, this is a look at the evolution of my work.
Technical Conversation Archive
A high-fidelity restoration of 184 indexed technical interviews across 212 recorded assets from the Ruby, JVM, and Software Craftsmanship movements. I used local AI (Whisper/LLM) to perform forensic transcription, dialogue restructuring, and SEO optimization to preserve technical memory across a changing industry.
Phalanx Duel
Tactical card combat built around a familiar 52-card vocabulary, compact formations, and replayable rules. A hands-on laboratory for rules engines, observable state transitions, and product architecture.
WWWorkRemote
A local-first, human-supervised job search system for ingesting, searching, ranking, triaging, and advancing job leads through applications and interview preparation.
Chicago Code Camp
A community-focused code camp in the Chicago area. I served as a co-organizer and designed and developed the official event websites and speaker management systems for the 2010-2012 seasons.
UGtastic
A technical media platform dedicated to capturing high-bandwidth technical conversations. Produced over 200 interviews with industry leaders at the start of the DevOps and Craftsmanship movements.
UGl.st
The User-Group List. I built this project to help User-Group organizers promote their communities and bridge the gap between physical conference interactions and digital discovery.
