A vision takes
its own time.
A recursive history of recording, community, preservation, and return. Start with the wide sky. Follow a thread. Find the evidence.
The organizer's perspective
One project. Many kinds of time.
The record is not a single line. A conversation happened, a file was saved, a caption was corrected, and a future reader found it. Each event leaves a different signal.
The archive grows by returning to what was already here.

What the archive can prove
Evidence is not certainty. Dates retain their source meaning. Explore the archive word clouds.
The long view
The archive as a living sky
A readable route through the map
Start with the evidence
These are the same primary story items shown in the canvas. Open a record here without finding a mark or scrolling sideways.
- Event: a dated occurrence or group of recordings.
- Active span: work supported across a stated interval.
- Approximate: the source supports a year or range, not an exact day.
- Unverified recollection: useful context that still needs independent support.
- Quiet space: no dated archive signal for that lane. It does not prove nothing happened.
Scroll horizontally to move through time. Tab reaches each item. When an item has focus, use Left and Right to move through its lane, Up and Down to move between lanes, and Home or End to reach the lane boundaries.
Horizontal position shows the strongest date supported by the public record. The canvas remains expansive so distance can carry meaning. Open space means only that this archive has no dated signal for that lane.
