Annual Software Craftsmanship North America conference. The SCNA Welcome Reception is Thursday,
November 17th from 5pm-7pm at Elephant & Castle, 185 N. Wabash. Tickets are $40 and include happy

Corey Haines will be hosting another Code Retreat on Sunday, November 20th, at the 8th Light Chicago

craftsmen and journeymen alike. Opportunities To Connect Whether celebrating at our opening night
reception or sharing an impromptu breakfast with colleagues before the keynote presentation, there
will be lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, share ideas, and network with like-minded
professionals from all over the world. Part of the reason you attend is to share experiences with
peers and colleagues, and we’re excited about offering ways for you to do that. Defining An Industry
SCNA features industry-leading speakers presenting relevant, applicable topics that impact not only

Celebrating Community Having a great keynote speaker and solid group sessions is imperative, but we
know the value in setting aside time for you pair with colleagues. SCNA provides time and space for
smaller, tactile sessions to share best practices and information on your own. In software
craftsmanship, everyone has something vital to share. Events In addition to the conference itself,
SCNA is hosting a 5K run on the morning of Saturday, the 19th, at 6:30AM. 8th Light will be hosting
